Chip has been in the healthcare industry for 25 years serving in multiple roles ranging from field sales leadership to leading teams focused on managed markets and health economics at Medtronic, Senseonics, and Mainstay Medical. Focal points for Chip and his team include establishing coverage  positions with commercial insurers, government payers (Tricare, DOD, VA), and Medicare as well as  adoption of the appropriate codes and commensurate payment with those codes. Other activities include leading the organization through development of dossiers, clinical study design, value-based contracting, and the leveraging of current data to drive coverage assessments from third party payers. 

Currently, Chip is part of the commercial leadership team at Mainstay Medical to establish coverage for the first restorative neurostimulation device for chronic low back pain, ReActiv8. Previous to Mainstay Medical, Chip has led the development of multiple LCDs and National Payment for a Category III CPT code(s) as well as driving commercial insurer coverage for other implantable devices. 

Chip currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida in Microbiology & Cell Science with a minor in Chemistry. Outside of work Chip enjoys a very active South Florida boating  lifestyle with his family and an occasional round of golf when time permits.
