Chelynne Lee

Integra Lifesciences

Chelynne will be one of the distinguished presenters at the 5th Semi-Annual Medical Device Labeling and Packaging Conference.

How many years have you been in the industry?
16+ years (Medical Devices), 8 years (Medical Device Packaging).

Why do you believe that the Device Packaging Conference is important?
Historically, much emphasis has often been placed on device development, but seemingly, an often overlooked area lies in the vast requirements associated with bringing a sterile package to fruition. Rather than treating the package as an afterthought, having conferences such as these offers up greater insight to those who have, often times, fallen into the responsibility of package development, thereby supplying them with the tools they need for successful validation and maintenance programs.

What do you hope attendees will take away from your presentation, workshop or panel discussion?
Although challenges in package development are not uncommon, my greatest hope is that attendees leave with a greater understanding of the large pool of resources available to assist them along their journey in bringing successful package solutions to fruition.

What inspires your passion and/or interest for medical product packaging and/or healthcare?
Having managed many aspects of product development, I greatly enjoy the challenge of taking on areas that may not necessarily be well understood by others, and given the ever increasing focus and attention that the medical industry receives, the critical areas related to packaging are of even more importance. In addition, it’s personally rewarding for me to share the wealth of knowledge and insight that I have gained over the years with others, in the hopes that their packaging programs will be even more successful.
