Brian will be one of the distinguished speakers at the 7th Semi-Annual Life Science Financial Forum.

Why are the 6th & 7th Semi-Annual Life Science Financial Forums important to financial executives?
This forum will provide useful information for executives that can be used to make better decisions throughout the healthcare industry. The networking and sharing of best practices of conferences and forums are always useful for all financial executives.

What initiatives are on the horizon at your organization for the financial department in 2015-2016?
We are seeking new innovative ways to engage our patients in terms of modern pricing and price transparency. Our goal is to provide the best patient care possible and help our consumers navigate through the financial aspects of healthcare.

How do you believe the evolving healthcare landscape has affected product pricing and value discussions?
The changes being made in healthcare are only valuable if the consumers are using them. I believe the healthcare industry has always striven for excellent clinical quality and should continue to do so, but it now also needs to shift to patient outreach and community education regarding pricing and options.

And finally, what keeps you up at night?
What doesn’t keep me up at night would be a more appropriate question, but I am constantly balancing the healthcare changing environment with strategic initiatives being put into place. Healthcare needs leaders with a different and more balanced approach to providing access for our consumers.
