Abbas Bohra, RAC is currently working as Manager, Regulatory Affairs, EMEA for Abbott Medical Optics Inc. (AMO) in Germany. AMO specializes in manufacturing of Intraocular lens, Refractive lasers and Eyecare related medical devices
Abbas has a Masters in Biomedical Engineering, from University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After starting with AMO in the International team, Abbas went on to support pre-market registrations for various Asia Pacific markets. He has carried out multiple successful timely registrations for AMO products in India and China. Moreover, he has a varied experience in handling International regulatory requirements for high and medium risk medical devices.
Abbas holds a Regulatory Affairs Certification title and is also an active member of RAPS and Euromcontact trade group for Contact lens and lens care products.
