Myomo, a commercial stage medical robotics company, announced this week the launch of its next-generation arm orthosis. The device, one of the few lightweight wearable devices, restores limb functionality to paralyzed or weakened arms and hands of stroke victims. With the aid of the device, victims can resume activities of daily living including feeding themselves, household tasks, and returning to work.
