ReWalk Robotics has released a softsuit exoskeleton designed for stroke victims. The suit uses motor operated knee joints and hips to enable survivors to stand and walk once again. The device, named Restore, works similarly to the company’s prior device, ReWalk (named after the company), a battery-operated exoskeleton for patients with spinal cord injuries. The company is currently exploring options for the Restore device to be used by patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). Read the full press release here.
