Glooko, a digital disease management firm, has raised $35 million in an attempt to further develop its diabetes monitoring app. The app, which is named after the company, allows users to input unique information about their diets, habits, and glucose levels to help patients carefully monitor their disease states at home. The company is hoping to expand the application into European and Middle Eastern markets in the near future, giving patients around the globe a larger part in their healthcare.
