Aum Cardiovascular has secured FDA approval for its cardiovascular device, Cadance. The device, which is to be used in a primary care setting, applies an algorithm to the natural acoustics of the heart. This will allow doctors to adequately diagnose patients without the use of expensive monitoring equipment like MRI or CT scans. Aum plans to expand the Cadance algorithm in the future to diagnose multiple cardiovascular conditions. Read the full press release here.
