Sandra Mackey is a seasoned marketing professional with a career in marketing and public relations that spans more than 20 years. She is the Executive Director of Marketing for Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, Georgia. In this position Ms. Mackey is responsible for product line marketing, Web site strategy and development, advertising and creative services. Ms. Mackey also serves as the marketing strategist for cardiovascular services and the world renowned Heart & Vascular Center, consistently ranked as one of the leading Centers in the nation by U.S.News & World Report.

Rebecca Steurer has 10 years of marketing experience for Northwestern Memorial, including health promotion, print advertisement and online content management. She began her online career in 2004 as the content editor for Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s consumer Web site, nmh.org. In this role she developed content to promote hospital services and to provide health information for consumers and patients.
In 2007, Rebecca became the project manager for implementing interactive televisions to Prentice Women’s Hospital. As the project manager, she collaborated with clinicians, information services and marketing to provide patient education and hospital services information for patients, including pregnancy, newborn care and cancer care.
Shortly after the successful implementation of the interactive televisions, she was promoted to a content management position for both the interactive televisions and nmh.org. Since then she has expanded her online content knowledge by leading the hospital’s social media committee, managing live surgical webcasts, developing hospital orientation videos and assisting with the production of television programs to promote and educate women about health through all stages of life.

He regularly advises clients regarding compliance with health care, pharmaceutical, and tax exemption laws and regulations. Mr. Mainiero began his career in the mid 90s working at UBS Warburg as a graphic designer. He then began developing successful e-commerce websites during the .com boom. In the late '90s, he developed a successful physician and patient management software for a firm in Mahhatan, New York. Mr. Mainiero's experience includes web services, systems operations, and application development across diverse industries including major academic & medical institutions such as NYU Langone Medical Center. He has been Instrumental in architecting custom solutions, developing web portals, orchestrating marketing campaigns, and building high-performance teams.
At NYU Langone Medical Center, Mr. Mainiero architected an enterprise content management system delivering hundreds of websites for patient care, research and education. He currently oversees a full production web shop that includes design, architecture, content, SEO, and web marketing.

Elizabeth R. Schnell, Director of Brand Management in Marketing and Public Relations for Henry Ford Health System, has a 24-year career in health care marketing, advertising and public relations. Liz has been with Henry Ford since 1987, and was responsible for launching the comprehensive Henry Ford Medical Group branding initiative. Liz is also the executive producer of Henry Ford’s prime-access television program, Minds of Medicine. Since the show began airing in 2000, it has won 6 Emmys from the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences. In 2006, the Henry Ford Medical Group branding TV commercials also were awarded an Emmy.
A magna cum laude graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, Liz is a guest lecturer for the marketing communications course at the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She is a graduate of the Center for Women’s Leadership program from the Women’s Economic Club in Detroit and served as a mentor for a “little” in Big Brothers Big Sisters. Most of her energy, however, is devoted to her two children (teenagers!) and wonderful husband.

Pamela Landis directs internet efforts at Henry Ford Health System, a nearly $3.7 billion a year integrated delivery network in Detroit, MI
She is responsible for overseeing the strategy and implementation of all web
efforts directed toward patients, physicians and employees, including the system’s award-winning HenryFord.com and its intranet. She directs the Henry Ford patient portal, MyHealth, where more than 235,000 patients have registered to communicate with their physicians and conduct online visits.
Prior to joining Henry Ford in 1996, she worked at Johns Hopkins Medical
Institutions in Baltimore, MD. Ms. Landis also has worked as a lobbyist and press secretary in Washington D.C. While in D.C., she worked on several national political campaigns and on the passage of the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Children's Television Act. She also has been a reporter in Pennyslvania.
Ms. Landis is a graduate of Ohio University.

Patricia Anderson is the Emerging Technologies Librarian for the Health Sciences at the University of Michigan, focusing on social technologies and Science 2.0. In this role she serves as the community manager for Wolverine Island, the University's home in Second Life. Ms. Anderson is also the senior author of the Medical Library Association Encyclopedic Guide to Searching and Finding Health Information on the Web, with significant expertise in systematic review methodologies.
